The polar bear is too small, and I don't think it's teeth or claws are enough to get through hippo or rhino defence. In the rhino vs hippo matchup, I think a rhino horn will do more reliable damage than the hippo's bite, because the rhino doesn't offer many bite-able targets.

Jul 27, 2016 · Hippo 10/10. Insanely thick layer of blubber armor prevents the grizzly from making any headway at all towards seriously injuring the hippo. Hippo can easily rip a grizzly's limb off with a single bite, or just straight up snap its head off. Grizzly's best chance is to run away and hope the hippo dies of old age first.

The whole concept of speed differences does not matter nearly as much as in any human confrontations, let alone video games.

Dec 30, 2022 · Now swap the polar bear for a grizzly, a smaller, less hunting oriented version of the polar bear. Then swap the walruses for a hippo, a more aggressive, larger, and better adapted for fighting on land than than a walrus. Hippo wins. If you want a better fight for the hippo, try like a rhino (it's been done before), or an elephant seal.

Nov 15, 2018 · The bear couldn't do anything to them. It could bite them and the walruses ran away, but the one the bear was attacking didn't seemed slowed down or anything. I bring this up because weight wise, hippo > walrus > polar bear > grizzly. I just don't see what a grizzly could do to a healthy hippo.
