Aug 2, 2020 · Before Rickie Fowler was a world-famous golfer, he was revving motorcycle engines and tearing up dirt tracks in motocross. Racing was Fowler’s first love growing up in Murrieta, Calif. Fowler’s father was a racing fanatic, so he brought his son to the race tracks whenever he went to watch.

Feb 10, 2024 · Fowler, known anyway for his often outlandish outfits – including the memorable bright orange – donned a dirt bike shirt on the 16th tee, much to the delight of the fans surrounding the hole. But there was some confusion over just why he was wearing that shirt.

But, what happened to the athlete and his love for the dirt bike? The 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic champ got his love for the dirt bike from his father, Rod Fowler.
