Niko Medved (born August 10, 1973) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Minnesota. [1] Prior to becoming head coach at Minnesota, he was head coach at Colorado State University, Drake University and Furman.

Niko Medved was named the University of Minnesota men's basketball coach on March 24, 2025. He begins his Gopher head coaching career with 12 years of head coaching experience, most recently at Colorado State University. Medved is Minnesota's 19th head coach in program history.
