TIMELINE OF CONSERVATION: BOBCATS 🐾 Extirpated by 1850, the first modern day sighting of a bobcat in Ohio was recorded in 1946, and after that sporadic sightings continued throughout the mid-1900s as bobcats dispersed from populations in neighboring states.
