The only reason for FGM is to serve the desires and control of men. It was never created for the health, happiness, or empowerment of women. It is about silencing us, breaking us, and making sure our bodies are not truly ours. So when someone has the audacity to turn around and say that feminists are just “bitter women,” I have no words.
