Thrilled that I was able to save this vintage black leather Gucci handbag; here is my process: 1) Test any cleaning solvent I plan to use on a small hidden area 2) Use a water based leather cleaner to remove surface soil 3) Vacuum out and touch up interior 4) Use dry solvents to degrease the bag (remove hidden body oil) 5) Rehydrate with leather conditioner mixed with black pigment for leather 6) Protect with a leather shield product (reduces dye transfer) 7) Touch up metal hardware so they spar
