A gem right on our doorstep! 🚂 A 10-minute drive took us to Shillingstone Station — opened in 1863-1966. We explored the museum and signal box, then enjoyed tea and cake served on the platform in an original railway carriage. It’s the perfect little outing if you’re staying with us and fancy exploring beyond the hills. There’s something rather magical about sipping coffee surrounded by railway heritage.
