The number of House cosponsors backing the bipartisan Save America’s Forgotten Equines (SAFE) Act has grown to 139 but we need to keep pushing for more — and for a vote on the bipartisan bill. The SAFE Act would place a lasting ban on horse slaughter in the United States as well as ending the export of American horses.
