This colony has been a nice little split I made to save an old queen who seemed to be in danger of being superseded after a varroa treatment. Two weeks ago the old white queen was looking good... today I opened up the colony to find a new piping virgin queen, the cell she'd recently emerged from & two capped queen cells.
