Meet the Erect-crested Penguin, an endangered penguin endemic to New Zealand. Erect-crested Penguins breed only on the Bounty and Antipodes Islands. Sadly their populations have declined drastically in the last few decades and they are now classed as 'Endangered'. It is possible that the declines have been caused by changes to sea temperatures which in turn impact the distrubution of their main prey species.
