Battalion 3 consists of FS15 (Chantilly), FS17 (Centreville), FS31 (Fox Mill), FS36 (Frying Pan), and FS38 (West Centreville). The area is on the West side of the county and borders Dulles Airport and Prince William County. It is densely populated with both rural and urban areas and includes unique features like Metro stations, Innovation Center, and the Colonial Pipeline running through the battalion.
