How to grow a year’s worth of popcorn on your backyard… This year I ventured into cultivating something a bit different - popcorn. With organic seeds sourced from Johnny’s, I planted them in two 18-foot beds, two rows in each, maintaining a foot’s spacing. Next season, I aim for a denser planting, anticipating a larger harvest. The yield was modest yet fulfilling, enough to produce over 80 bags of popcorn. Planted in July, after the spring crops, and harvested them around mid-October. I let the
