A great yard for the Great Northern! Here is a short flyover of Hill Yard in Washington, on Mike Shockey's two level GN layout. The layout is set in 1958 and includes 1st and 2nd generation diesel power. The layout is HO, and designed for operations. I hope to get to experience it! A Western Maryland 2-10-0 decapod leads a small local Freight out of the yard, I need to a tunnel. This is one of the older a decapods that was originally built for the Russian empire, but the shipment of which was interrupted by the creation of the Communist party, and the Russian Civil war.
