📡 Intriguing radar loop from NWS Detroit this morning (8/6). The animation displays a pocket of south->north moving cells that popped pre-sunrise thanks to some remnant lake breeze boundaries. It looks like Oakland and Lapeer Cnty residents may have had a few rumbles of thunder and rainfall from these cells. The radar then shows the outward circular blast of birds from the region's parks and preserves as they head out at sunrise. These "roost rings" can be seen near Saginaw Bay, Lake St. Clair,
