On November 5, 1937, Disney released The Old Mill, one of the most important Silly Symphonies. It was the first to use the multiplane camera, a groundbreaking innovation that would be employed in Disney’s feature films, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and beyond.
