The Cadillac 390 Engine is finally built! Check it out as Bob and Josh finish up assembling everything on the engine including the fuel pump, water pump, and all the accessories. It took some time, but they got it done and the engine is purring the way it should. Now we're ready to hook up the transmission and get this bad boy bolted to the frame. What time is it? It's Transmission Time! We hooked up the turbo 400 transmission to the Cadillac 390 engine. Using an adapter plate kit sold from Caddy Daddy, we went ahead and installed the flywheel, which mates to the back of the crankshaft. We also installed the starter, which was really easy. Once the engine block and transmission were completely connected, we bolted the whole thing down to the 59' Eldorado Biarritz frame and now it's sitting lovely.
